In 1987, Gino Barbo, a native Australian, started Salon Service Group with just one product line, an answering machine, and a Ford Thunderbird. We’ve come a long way since then—from a tiny basement office, to our current headquarters, but growth hasn’t come without challenges. Gino’s original vision of a company built around helping Salon Professionals pursue their dreams and giving them the tools to achieve those dreams is still at the center of Salon Service Group, today.
